  “I think it’s time I should go,” Deanna said, walking back into the room to pick up her purse. Stupidly she’d left it on the floor next to his chair. She walked into the room, leaning down to grab it.

  “You can’t go,” her father said, raising his voice.

  “What? You can’t stop me from going anywhere,” she said, putting her purse over her shoulder and starting to make her way out of the room.

  Deanna didn’t get far.

  “Well, do we have a deal?” her father asked.

  Demon grabbed her chin and forced her to look at her father. “Your father owes me a shit load of money, Deanna.” How did he know her name? “Do you know what he offered me?” he asked.

  She shook her head, more afraid of what he was about to say than what he could have already said.

  “He offered me you as payment.”

  Deanna stared into her father’s eyes, the eyes of an addict. Hatred filled her to the core at what he’d done. There was no mistake now. When he’d been on his phone, he’d made sure these three men knew to come for her.

  “I’m not going with you,” Deanna said.

  “You don’t have a choice. If it’s not our club it’ll be another club. Before long, you’ll have so many men taking payment out of your pussy. Your father is scum, Deanna. The lowest of the low.”

  Her heart pounded at what he was saying. This was not news to her. Her father had always been a problem. The only reason she tried to help him before was because of her mother.

  “You don’t understand, Deanna.” Why did he keep saying her name? “If you don’t come with me now we’re going to kill your father, and then we’re going to kill you.”

  Tears filled her eyes as she stared at the bug she called a father.

  “You’re coming with me back to my club. It’s for your own good.”

  Deanna started to struggle. She didn’t want to go back with him. She didn’t want to have anything to do with the man who was holding her captive. The only thing she wanted to do was escape.

  Demon stood quickly, holding her against him. He wrapped his fingers around her neck and tightened until he cut off her air supply. She stopped fighting him to claw at his arms to be released.

  Only when he was ready to release her did he do it.

  He turned her around until she faced him, taking a gun out of the back of his pocket. Fright gripped her as she looked at the deadly looking piece. That could do a lot of damage. It could kill someone and if she wasn’t careful, it would kill her.

  “I will shoot you. Now, you’re going to be quiet and get on the back of my bike. We’re going to take a long trip back to the clubhouse.”

  “I’ve got a life here,” she said.

  “No, your life was over the moment you came to check on that useless piece of scum.”

  The tears that had filled her eyes finally fell. There was no time for arguing. Demon grabbed her arm, leading her toward the door. They stopped long enough for Demon to give instruction.

  “Hurt him.”

  Glancing behind her, she saw the other two men surround her father. Before she even climbed on the back of the bike she heard his screams. For once, Deanna couldn’t bring herself to care. Her own father had ruined her life.

  Demon had to all but toss her ass into the clubhouse. She had struggled to get on the back of his bike, but he had growled out his frustration, stared at her with this look that said “shut the fuck up and do what you’re told,” and the fear had been evident in her face. To say she had shut right the hell up was an understatement.

  His men entered the clubhouse and went straight for the bar. The night was winding down, and he knew it would be a long while before this sweet piece of ass was comfortable being here.   She was leaning against one of the tables, her gaze jumping to the door. Joker was standing by it, his focus on Deanna, and this smug fucking smile on his face. Demon laughed, took the shot from the prospect named Chucks, and faced Deanna again. “You want something to take the edge off, baby?” He grinned wide when she glowered at him.

  “Like alcohol is really going to make this situation any better for me.”

  He shrugged, tossed the shot back, and loved that the burn was fucking wicked. He slammed the shot glass down, and Chucks refilled it. Demon tapped on the counter and Chucks filled a new glass with bourbon. Demon turned and walked over to Deanna. He held out the glass, and she eyed it for a second before taking it. He lifted a brow, tossed the second shot back, and watched her over the rim. She looked down at the alcohol, and then up at him. Before he knew what she planned on doing she tossed the liquor in his face and threw the glass across the room. The sound of the glass shattering, and then of Joker cursing, had Demon turning and staring at the MC member.

  “What the fuck?” Joker cursed out. “She fucking missed me by like an inch.” He turned and looked at where the glass had obviously slammed into the wall since there were pieces of glass and liquid sliding down the brick.

  “Fuck all of your crazy, kidnapping biker asses,” Deanna pushed Demon out of the way, catching him off guard, and running toward the exit. For a second all any of the guys did was stare at her as she hauled ass toward the front door, but then Demon growled and went after her. He had her in his arms and thrown over his shoulder seconds later.

  “Let me go, you fucking barbarian.” She slammed her hands on his back, cursed out over and over again, and before Demon lost it he brought his palm down right on her full, plump ass. She stilled for a second, just long enough for him to take her to the back room, slam the door shut behind him, and toss her stubborn, trouble-making ass on the bed. She bounced on the mattress twice, stared at him with wide frightened eyes, and Demon had to make himself calm down and not lose his shit because of how she was acting. Yeah, she was here against her will, but she’d have to come to terms with that sooner rather than later.

  “How can you not think any of this is wrong?” she all but shouted out.

  Demon stared at her, feeling like a beast trapped in a human body, and smirked. “Because I’m a heartless motherfucker, Deanna, and the sooner you realize that the better off you’ll be.” And then he turned and left her alone, locked the door behind him, and went to get good and trashed.

  He had spanked her, actually spanked her ass like she was this petulant child instead of being held here against her will. Deanna got off the bed and moved over to the door, knowing it was locked before she even reached it. She had heard it click when he had shut the door, and her anger and fear had mounted. This man could, and would not see reason. He was narrow-minded, set in whatever fucked-up ways he had adapted for himself, and she was stuck right in the middle of it all.

  Deanna curled her hands at her sides, and using all of her strength she booted the bottom of the door. But all that accomplished was having her foot hurt and her anger rise. She turned and faced the room. A small bed sat in the center, a few posters of Harleys and engines lined the wall, and of course there were a few nude chicks hanging on the bikes, as if they couldn’t help but rub their tits all over the metal.

  She huffed out, felt her anger start to fade as the hardcore realization of this situation slammed into her. She had been stupid enough to think that these men could be talked to, seen that what they were doing, and whatever they wanted to do to her was wrong on every level.   Deanna wiped her tears away angrily, stared at the closed door, and promised herself she’d get out of here, and then get even. She’d make her father pay for being the shittiest fucking dad in the world, and make these bastards realize that she wasn’t this weak and timid wallflower. She’d give as good as she got, and they’d regret ever taking her in the first place.

  Demon slammed his fist on the counter, needing another hit of something strong. He didn’t give a shit what it was so long as he got this desire under control. Her fighting him wasn’t going to help her any. He relished the fire, and it only made him want to tame her more. She was a wildcat. Demon liked that.

  Running a hand down his face, he glanced out of the corner of his eye to see Joker join him.
