  “Why didn’t you tell us? You know your father and I would support you all the way.”

  “But he does.”

  “And you’re waiting to tell your father until you know that everything is stable with you and Dakota?”

  “Yeah, because despite what Dad says I really am not out trying to give him a heart attack by the guys I date.”
