  A week later

  Once in her car with the engine on, she drove to her place.

  She got out of her car and made her way inside. The house felt deserted. It was such a strange feeling for this place not to feel like home. But then again it never really had.   Clearing her throat once more and setting her cup back on the table, she shifted on her chair to look him in the eyes. “I love being out here with you.
